She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Galilee Baptist Church in Cusseta, Alabama. She received her formal education in Alabama. She was affectionately known as “Pistol Pete.”
Marzell later relocated to California and married the LOVE of her life, the late Edward Miller Jr., affectionately known to her as “The E.” To this union, they were blessed with a son, Larry.
She worked and retired from Rohr Aircraft Company in San Diego, California. Marzell was full of life and always on the go. She especially loved to go to the horse races.
The Lord called Marzell home on Friday, September 11, 2020 to be reunited with “The E” and leaves to celebrate her life, her son, Larry (Regina) Miller of Ellenwood, Georgia; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five brothers and one sister, Will Davis of Jonesboro, Georgia, Joe Menefield of Reynolds, Georgia, Roy (Roynechia) Davis of Eufaula, Alabama, Mattie (Clarence) Moragan Ferrell of West Point, Georgia, William (Jackie) Davis of Fayetteville, Alabama, and James (Tammy) Davis of LaGrange, Georgia; goddaughter, Vanessa Davis of Riverdale, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public Viewing for Marzell Miller will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 9:00AM-12:00Noon at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
Visitation for Mrs. Miller will also be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory, 3953 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, California 92113
She will buried with her husband on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:00PM in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
