Max Sherman Anderson, age 78, of Stockbridge, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 2pm, with Steve Bats officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
Max was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served as a medic. He was a member of 691 Stockbridge Masonic Lodge and was a master in 1983. He retired from Air Products & Chemicals in 1995 and was a Henry County Bus Driver. He was an avid bowler. He is survived by: wife, Jerry May Anderson of 52 years, children; Josi & Thomas Weeks and Paul S. Anderson, grandchildren, Destini & Michael Weeks, great-grandchild, Caden Weeks, sister, Gayle Walters, brothers, Bob & Betty Anderson and Bill & Linda Anderson; several nieces & nephews.
