Michael Dean Barr

Michael was born on July 24, 1956 to Walter Sterling Barr, Sr. and Ann Elizabeth Estes Barr in Atlanta, Georgia. Michael worked for Morrow Construction for many years.

He loved old classic cars and building model cars. Everyone always remembered seeing him near or one of his favorite cars.

Michael loved the Lord and was a member of Oak Park Church in Jonesboro, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Walter & Ann Barr; brother, Thomas "Bo" Barr and sisters, Linda Darrow and Penni Casper.

Michael's life will forever be honored and cherished by his loving siblings, Buddy Barr, Marilyn Davis (Chuck), Nancy Smith and Sandy Simmons (Jerry); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and family friends.

A visitation for Michael will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11:00AM-12:00Noon at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. The Celebration of Life will be held cryptside on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 12:00Noon at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, with the Entombment immediately following.
