Mickey Lynn Wright

Mickey was born October 14, 1955 in Ware Shoals, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of Helen Shepherd Wright who passed away in 2010 and Lynn Wright who passed in 2004. He is survived by his girlfriend, Donna Lindstrom.

Mick lived part of his childhood in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and graduated from Oakland High School in 1973. He worked for many companies throughout his career and retired from Pratt Industries USA in 2018.

He was a gifted craftsman with a myriad of skills and interests. Mick designed and built racing trucks as a hobby, using his welding, fabrication, and mechanical skills. He was an AKC breeder of dogs. He also loved motorcycles, especially his blue Harley Davidson. Mickey parachuted from an airplane 19 times and also enjoyed fishing, sports, gardening, and politics.

Mick will be remembered as a loyal friend, compassionate man and loving son.

A graveside celebration of life and committal service will be held for Mickey on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
