Ojia'lee "Poodie" Decuir

Ojia'lee was born in Morrow, Georgia, the first child of Keyosha Decuir on June 11, 2007. Ojia’lee leaves to mourn her mother, Keyosha Decuir; grandmother, Samantha Decuir; aunt, Shaquanda Clow; uncle, John Clow; three siblings, Samiyah’lee, Karon, and London; first cousins, Emari, Joeziah, Tiyanna, and Messiah with whom she was very close; great aunts, Cynthia Scott, Salena Brown, and Tonia Decuir; cousin, Jessica Winn; stepfather, Eric Cartwright; boyfriend, Tayshawn; and a host of extended relatives and friends who are devastated by this sudden loss.

Poodie, as she was affectionately called by her family, was a wonderful girl full of promise who did well in school, participated on the debate team and was recently admitted into ROTC. This outstanding young lady also had plans for an after-school job shortly but ultimately, she wanted to go to college and her lofty ambition was to attend the University of California at Berkeley. Her other interests included maintaining several social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. She was a beautiful dancer and choreographer often posting videos to her social media. She loved online shopping, and her favorite site was Shein.

A gathering of family & friends for Poodie will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 PM.
