Priscilla Elizabeth Estes, beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully on August 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was defined by devotion… to God, her faith, her family, her church, and the simple joys that made her happiest.

She was born to James and Nellie Cook, and throughout her life she carried their strength, kindness, and steady love forward.She was preceded in death by her husband,Virlyn Estes; her daughter-in-law Vanisa Estes; and her parents.

Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children, oldest to youngest: Jimmy Estes and his wife Selena, Randy Estes and his wife Tammy, Tracey Wagner and her husband Clay and Mark Estes and his wife Pilar.

Her grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply, include Amy Terrell and her husband Zach, Amanda Ledford and her husband Michael, Randi Fincher and her husband Reid, Joshua Wagner and his wife Lacey, Japeth Wagner and his wife Hannah, Jesse Wagner and his wife Kaitlyn, Anthony Estes and his fiancé Teagan, Lily Estes, and Manuel Morel. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Faith, Jimmy Ray, Lincoln, Alice, Tillie, and David.

She shared a special lifelong bond with her sister, Phyllis Cowan, and her children, Ben and Kimberly. To all of them, she was simply Grandmother… the heart of the family. Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. She was deeply devoted to God and to her church, and she spent her life striving to share His love and spread His Word. Her faith was not simply something she believed; it was something she lived. She showed it through her kindness, generosity, compassion, and the way she continually put others before herself.

Priscilla had a heart for children and loved teaching. During her years as a paraprofessional, she found so much joy in helping and nurturing children. Teaching was one of her favorite things, and she loved children wholeheartedly. She had a natural gift for making children feel loved, safe, valued, and cared for.

Her nurturing spirit reached far beyond her own family and touched countless lives.She was a woman who loved deeply and gave freely. Her hugs were incredible, the kind that made you feel safe, loved, and at home. Her advice was always heartfelt, thoughtful, and given with genuine love. One of the things her family will remember most was her laugh, an unmistakable, joyful laugh that was truly the absolute best laugh we’ve ever heard. When she laughed, everyone around her couldn’t help but laugh too.

Her favorite things in life were beautifully simple and deeply meaningful. Earlier in life, she and Virlyn shared a passion for co-ed softball, playing, coaching, and cheering on their children as they took the field. Those memories became treasured family stories, passed down through generations.

Grandmother was also known for her incredible country cooking. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and love. Sundays after church and holidays were especially treasured. Those meals became some of the family’s most cherished memories, ordinary moments that, looking back, were anything but ordinary. Her cooking will be deeply missed by everyone who was honored to sit at her table.She always took every opportunity she could to be with her family. Whether it was a Sunday meal, a ball game, a birthday dinner, a school function for one of the great grandchildren, a family gathering, or simply time together, she treasured being surrounded by the people she loved. She made family a priority, and her presence was often what brought everyone together.She lived a life of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, deep faith, nurturing love, and endless devotion. She was the matriarch of her family… the one whose love held generations together for so many years.

Her family will forever carry the sound of her laughter, the comfort of her hugs, the wisdom of her advice, the warmth of her kitchen, and the example of a woman who devoted her life to God and to loving others.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, laughter, family, and devotion that will continue through every life she touched.

Though she is deeply missed, her love will live on in her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, family, and all those blessed to know her. Her life was a gift. Her love was her legacy. And her family was her greatest joy.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 03:00 pm at Horis A Ward Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia, 30281. Family will receive friends from 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm prior to funeral service .
