Reid Will Humphreys

Reid W. Humphreys, 77 of Ellenwood, GA passed away Monday, April 19, 2010. Mr. Humphreys was born in Harriman, TN to the late Wills R. and Lucille Self Humphreys. Reid was a former member of the True Gospel Baptist Church in Forest park, GA for 34 years. Mr. Humphreys served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict; and he was employed for 20 years with Roadway Express in Atlanta, GA . Mr. Humphreys is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Gerri Humphreys of Ellenwood; daughters and son in-law Sheila Humphreys of Ellenwood, GA, Donna and Doyle Howell of Newnan, GA; son and daughter in-law Randy and Cindy Humphreys of Georgetown, DE; grandchildren Sean Humphreys, Brent Humphreys, Chad Howell, Miranda Howell, Ethan Humphreys, Ashley Humphreys, and Lindsey Howell; great grandson Rhys Humphreys; great granddaughter Peyton Humphreys; 2 brothers, 6 sisters, several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Ward’s Fairview Chapel with Pastor Charles Chapman, and Rev. Doug Ledford officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM at Horis A.
