Retha Dale Clark

Dale, as she was affectionately called, was born on September 26, 1951 to John and Martha Ann Godfrey.

She was an amazing woman who loved everyone. Many called her "GIGI". Dale loved her family unconditionally and was always there for them no matter what. She had a kind and loving spirit about her.

Dale loved her pastors and church family. She will truly be missed by many and never forgotten by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert “Bobby”Clark; and siblings, Randall Godfrey and Johnnie Ann Robertson.

GIGI’s life will forever be remember and cherished by her children, Venetha (Charles) Shoemaker and Samette Padgett; six stepchildren; grandchildren, Courtney (Marc) Simon, Ashley (Michael) Whitsell, Tyler Padgett, CJ (Marissa) Padgett, Sierra (Andrew) Keller, Zachary Shoemaker and Kaylee Shoemaker; great-grandchildren, Nathan Simon, Josiah Whitsell and Briella Grace; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; siblings, Damaris Keller and Rhonda (Edward) Bruce; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:00AM - 1:00PM at Horis A Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.

The Celebration of Life for Retha Dale Clark will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00PM at Charity Baptist Fellowship, 9181 Floyd Road, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.
