A wonderful father in law. He was always there to help whenever you needed him. No matter what time it was or what the task was.I loved how he always greeted me with a smile. I'm praying that God will be with the family during this time and comfort them......

Ruth, Rick, Steven and Grandchildren,

So many memories of someone we all held in highest regard; a person who always saw the best in people and in life itself and set an example for the rest of us in the manner in which he lived life. I believe "Ownward Christian Soldiers" was one of his favorite hymns, and he was truly a "Christian Soldier".
I pray that God will bring comfort to each of you and keep you in His care.

A salute to a great brother-in-law, I could only hope that I can ever be as good a person as you. I'm sure you'll fit in nicely on your final journey and your supreme father will open his arms to to you. My heartfelt sorrow to my sister Ruth, nephews Rick and Steven and their children, you've lost a great patriarch.

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

We love you brother.

Aunt Ruth, Uncle Dickey was one of my favorite Uncles. I know this has been a very difficult time for you and I pray that God will continue to comfort you at this time. We all have very fond memories of Uncle Dickey that we can keep with us. My favorite was "You Betcha". Everytime I hear someone say that I think of him with his smile telling us kids "You Betcha". He was a wonderful man who very much loved his family. I love you.
