Robert Lee Mapp departed this life on February 14, 2015. He was born on March 15, 1927 in Athens, Georgia to the late Annie and William Mapp. He is the third child born of seventeen. Robert attended school in Walton County, GA and in 1949 moved to Atlanta, GA. In 1952, Robert moved to Harrisburg, PA where he pursued as a career as a supervisor for Andersen Window Company. After 25 years of dedicated service, Robert retired and moved back to Atlanta where he resided with his sister Annie Lee; and later his loving niece and caretaker Sylvia Renshaw. Robert enjoyed garnering, dancing listening to music, and attending services at Spirit and Truth Sanctuary. Robert became a member of Spirit and Truth Sanctuary in 2014. He also had a love for animals especially Precious, Angel and Ms.Grey.
He leaves to cherished memories, his loving family consisting of five brothers and six sisters: Willie Mapp, Horace Mapp, Annie Lee Hillman, Johnnie Mapp, William Mapp, Ethel
( Robert) Lockhart; Lillian (Roosevelt) Willingham; Harrison Mapp, Juanita (Willie)Stephens; Peggy Grooms, Brenda Mathis and loving niece Sylvia Renshaw, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
