Sara Farmer, age 83, of McDonough, GA passed away July 15, 2017. A native of Winter Garden, FL, Mrs. Farmer retired from First State Bank of Stockbridge, GA, after working for over 20 years in customer service.
She is survived by her husband Lindy Farmer, Sr. , her children, Lindy Farmer Jr. of Ellenwood, Donald Farmer of Stockbridge, Dale Farmer of McDonough and Joy Pippin of Stockbridge, GA, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister in law, Jean Brooks of Mobile, AL, loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rezo Brooks, her mother Bea Torbert, her brothers, Don Brooks, Bill Brooks and her daughter in law Patsy Farmer.
Services will be held on July 19th, 2017 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home – Fairview Chapel 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281 with Matt Grimes and Glen Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA.
