

Sarah was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia. Sarah served on the choir, prayer, and children’s church teams and enjoyed fellowship with the church's members.
Sarah loved nature, flowers, and birds, and enjoyed working in her yard. Sarah also enjoyed camping and visiting Saint Augustine, Florida, with her late husband, John Parker, Sr.
Sarah was a beautician for 20 years at Three Sisters Hairdresser in Decatur. After that, she worked at the Family Business at Parker Brothers. After her retirement, she opened a daycare center for 10 years and loved spoiling each child who stayed with her. All the children loved “Miss Sarah”.
Sarah was married to the late John R. Parker, Sr., and they had one son, John Renard Parker, Jr. (Johnny). Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Parker, Sr.; her son, Johnny Parker, Jr.; her parents, Rolland and Mary Lewis, and Her Brothers, Buddy Lewis, Wayne Lewis, Donnie Lewis, and Earl Lewis.
Sarah is survived by granddaughters, Audrey Culpepper and Andrea Harborth; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Culpepper, Abbie Harbort, Gabe Fincher, Noah, and Daniel Harbort; Sisters, Dorothy Jo Chambers and Mary Jane Huff; brothers, W.T. Lewis and David Lewis; special brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Judy King; and special niece, Susan Lewis Barrington. Sarah is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Horis Ward Fairview Chapel in Stockbridge, GA, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Visitation 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Celebration of Life 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Committal Service 1:00 pm - 1:15 pm, Fairview Memorial Gardens.
