

Sarenia was born December 20, 1966 in Elmer, New Jersey to Arthur & Eleanora Telfair.
She was educated in the Bridgeton School District and attended Ramapo College and Philadelphia School of the Arts. She worked at Eastern Pines Nursing Home for many years in Atlantic City, New Jersey and the Training School of Vineland, New Jersey. She also worked at Showboat Hotel & Casino and KMart. She was a hardworking woman and never a slacker. Her final employment was with Surge Staffing with Elder Tim Captiville in Atlanta, Georgia.
Affectionately known as Mother Sarenia, she was true worshipper and there was no doubt that she loved God and was full of faith. She was formerly a member of The Vision Cathedral of Atlanta under the leadership of Bishop O. C. Allen and DeVine Walk of Faith under the leadership of Pastor Andre Jones. She was currently a member of Rehoboth Fellowship of Atlanta, United Church of Christ under the leadership of Bishop-Elect Troy Sanders. Even when she could not physically be in worship, you could feel her spirit and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandmother, Josephine Smith; paternal grandparents, Ida Springer and Samuel B. Telfair; sisters, Yvonne Telfair and Cynthia Telfair and nieces and nephews, Jerrell Telfair, Gavin Telfair and Juwanna Brown.
Sarenia's life will forever be honored and cherished by her fiancé, Terrance Dana Lamb of Duluth, Georgia; sisters, Teresa Telfair of Turnersville, New Jersey and Yvette Telfair of Bridgeton, New Jersey; brothers, Bland Telfair of Bridgeton, New Jersey and William "Shyam" Telfair of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews, Jmeaul Telfair, Ordale Telfair, Ava Telfair, Mustafa A. Telfair, Mikhail A. Telfair, Tanisia Green-Telfair, Basil Green-Telfair, Techia Robinson, Blandia Telfair, Moana Telfair and Aaliyah Telfair, all of Bridgeton, New Jersey, Elijah Brown of Millville, New Jersey, Fatima Mills of Elmer, New Jersey, Dequonna Telfair of Millville, New Jersey and Lvesha Ball of Texas; god-mother, Estell Graham of Atlantic City, New Jersey; god-sisters, Robin Johnson of Villa Rica, Georgia, Tammy White and Tene' Long, both of Atlantic City, New Jersey and Sharron Fickling "Big Sis" of Atlanta, Georgia; goddaughters, Rahkel Henry of Atlanta, Georgia, Ashani Brinson of Atlantic City, New Jersey and Zanetta Fleminster of Houston, Texas; godsons, Benjamin Cisrow of Vineland, New Jersey and Baron Cisrow of Bridgeton, New Jersey; god-grandchildren. Visitation for Sarenia will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A Homegoing Worship Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 3:00PM in The Fairview Chapel.
