Scott was born October 15, 1964 at Fort Sill Army Hospital to Allen Lamar Cox and Jeanette Strickland Cox.
He was preceded in death by his father who was killed in combat in South Vietnam on August 1, 1966.
Scott is survived by his mother, Jeanette S. Norris; his step-father, R. Edwin Norris; one sister, Teresa Jan Cox; one brother, Robert Davin Norris; sister-in-law, Alycia Norris, along with niece Emily and nephew Zachary; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Scott on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Following the visitation of family and friends will be a graveside celebration of Scott's life and a committal service at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Pastor Tom Miller, officiating.
