Thelma Willingham Bradford age 84 passed away January 15, 2012 unexpectedly. She was the matriach and beloved mother of her family. Thelma was born in Montgomery Al. she lived a good part of her life in her favorite town of Savannah Ga. Thelma moved to Atlanta with her husband Buddy where she remained to this day. She loved her lake house and was a lover of all animals. She loved her family with all her heart and soul. After the death of her first husband Buddy ,Thelma married her second love Herman Bradford and lived happily with him in Griffin Ga. until his passing. When we think of her we will always smile; Rest in peace our sweet momma. Survivied by her sons Buddy and wife DeDe Willingham, James Frank and wife Kathy Willingham; daughters Sandra and husband Skip Froelich, Nancy Sharpless; sister Francis Owens of Charleston S.C. Eight beloved grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 18, 2012 in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastor Alan Saunders will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home January 17th from 6-8 p.m.
