Ted was a high quality person in so many ways. I always enjoyed spending time around Ted. Never heard Ted ever utter a word disrespectfully about anyone. Heaven will be a better place with Ted there.

I just learned of Ted's passing a short time ago. The years I worked with him at Horis A, Ward, were some of the best.
I have many fond memories of Ted. He was a great mentor and friend. The thing that I always admired about him, was that I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. He will be missed.

We are so sad to hear about Ted. He was a family friend since the early 50's. We went to East Side Baptist Church together and shared a lot of good times and memories there. Our prayers and thoughts are with Ted's family. Our family will miss Ted dearly.

Words, however kind, can't mend the heartache. Those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and know that you are in every thought and prayer.

My thoughts & prayers go out to Ted's family. He was a classmate at SWD, & we had several classes together, even though he was older. I'll always remember what an athlete Ted was & the time he broke his leg playing football. Seems like he was on crutches forever, but he just got around the school halls, stairs, etc., like everyone else did. He was a very caring, compassionate funeral home director who will certainly be missed by the community & all the families he served through the years. God Bless all of the family.
