

Thomas is proceeded in death by his parents, James R. Cook and Jane (Dowdy) Cook, his brother, John R. Cook and daughter in law, Pamela (Ippolito) Cook.
Thomas was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved traveling with his wife Debbie. He was a mason for 49 years. Thomas was a jokester and always had a joke ready for friends and strangers. He was a self taught guitar player and loved country music. Some of his hobbies were golfing with his best friend and fishing with his family. He owned Cook Refrigeration for many years in Atlanta, Georgia. He retired from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Thomas was a family man who loved getting together for family dinners and gatherings.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Debbie (Rivers) Cook, daughter Alisha Hackworth (Todd), son Tommy Cook, grandchildren Ambur Logvinsky (Greg), Brooke Davenport (James), Quentin Hackworth (Megan), Michael and Alyssa Ippolito, Abby Cook, and great grandchildren James and Cooper Williams, Thomas and Alexander Logvinsky, and Quentin Hackworth II.

Visitation will be held at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281 on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Celebration Of Life Memorial is being planned for a later date.
