Virginia Stokes Johnson, age 88, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 12pm, with Joe Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
A native of Tennessee, Mrs. Johnson retired from Country Home Bakery. She is survived by her daughters; Jane & Bruce Impson, June & Daniel Simmons, Joyce & Paul Senft and Thelma Gripado, 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, sisters; Sammie & Joe Womac, Donna & David Sneed and Lou York and brother, Dean & Maxine Stokes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Johnson and 2 sisters and 1 brother.
