Virginia Ellis Stephenson, age 85, of Greensboro, passed away January 4, 2015. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, Horis A. Ward Funeral Home at 11am, with Pastor Bobby Bear officiating.
Virginia was employed by Motorola for 30 years and attended Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Greensboro. Left to cherish her memory are sisters, Marion Rice, Jean Kersey, brother, Jerry & Lucy Ellis, sister-in-law, Nancy Ellis, nephew, Keith & Ruth Stephenson and good friends, Doris Leach and Pat Patterson.
She was preceded in death by, husband, Ollie Stephenson, parents; Leonard & Thelma Ellis, brothers; Tommy, Roy, Charlie & James Ellis and sister, Pat Cash.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 7, 2015, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
