Walter is survived by; Wife Joan Cook, son Bill Cook, three step-sons Danny, Keith and Terry Smallwood and two grand sons Kaden and Paxton Cook.
Walter was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Cook.
A visitation for Walter will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wards Fairview Chapel, Stockbridge, Ga. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Glenhaven Baptist Church, McDonough, Ga. An interment will occur at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge, GA.
