Mr. Walter G. (Pa Paw) Leonard, age 98, of Ellenwood passed away December 19, 2012. He was preceded in death by wife, Christine, and son, Walter, Jr.He was a truck driver for Seyco, enjoyed golf and traveling, and was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Surviving are wife, Betty Leonard; two daughters, Joan and Mike Vining of McDonough and Tina Barron of Marietta. 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 stepchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Ward's Fairview Chapel with Rev. Jim Moore and Rev. Candy Thacker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Contributions may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church.
