

Wanda was born on August 13, 1940, in Batesville, Arkansas, to the late Cornelius Loy and Ernestine (Sandefur) Loy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Ray Dickinson, wonderful son Mitchell Dickinson, and her great-grandchild, Natalia Lara.
Wanda is survived by her loving brother, Troy Loy and his wife Barbara of Covington, Georgia; her daughters, Tamara Wallace and her husband David of Stockbridge, Georgia, and Laura Agan and her husband Jerry of Clermont, Florida. She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren and twelve treasured great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Wanda dedicated part of her career to working for the Second Army, where she was honored with the Superior Civilian Service Award, the highest civilian medal awarded at that time. She was deeply devoted to her family and found great joy in crafting, spending time with loved ones, and helping others whenever there was a need. Her strong faith carried her throughout her life and served as an inspiration to those around her.
Family will receive friends Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 05:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281
Funeral services will be held at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, Friday, May 22, 2026 beginning at 01:00 p.m. and interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
The family kindly requests that no mums or daisies be included in floral arrangements.
Wanda’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered.
