Wendell D. Burford 65 of Stockbridge passed away July 28, 2013. His survivors are two sisters Becky Bing & husband Bobby McDonough and Sharon Burford & partner Alyce Wellons Atlanta. One brother Melvin Burford Stockbridge. Three nieces, one nephew, one great niece and four great nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bernard W. and Floy Jo Evans Burford. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 30, 2013 at 3 p.m. in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastor Jerry Stewart will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
