William (Sonny) Lyle age 74 of Rex Ga. passed away Feb. 6, 2012. He is survived by his wife Ellen Powell Lyle. Four children DeAnne and husband Ronnie Martin, Renee' and husband Jesse Johns, Laurie and husband Jason Newman and Wm. Michael and wife Heidi Lyle all from the Atlanta area. Seven grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. Many aunts, uncles and extended family members. William was a member of The Rock Baptist Church since 1969 and a Deacon for 25 years; he retired after 30 years of service from General Motors. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Feb. 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at The Rock Baptist Church, his body will lie in state from 12 noon till 1 p.m. Dr. Don Bazel will officiate.
