Andrea Lynn Rueda

April 17, 1946 - January 2, 2018

Andrea Lynn Rueda passed away on January 2, 2018 at the age of 71 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband; Frank Rueda, children; Lorie Costa-Rios, Gabriel Rueda, and Theodore Rueda, grand-children; Cilicia Rios, Hannah Buck, and Miranda Rueda as well as countless other family members and friends.

Andrea was born on April 17, 1946 in French Camp, Ca. She was the eldest child of 6 siblings. At the age of 16 she welcomed her first child, Martin Costa and later welcomed Lorie Costa. In 1968, she met and married her life-long love, Frank Rueda and built a life of fifty years in Stockton, CA. The year 1970 they welcomed their first child together; Gabriel Dean Rueda, followed by Theodore “Louis” Rueda. She spent her professional years working as a Manager of Olan Mills capturing memories of family, friends, and others.

There was a love and patience that Andrea showed all that knew her. She had a giving nature and loved to collect stuffed animals, Avon, crosses, and costume jewelry during her life. She was also an avid reader and watched CNN religiously !!. There was not a baby around that she would not welcome into her arms and shower with love.

There will be a viewing on January 10, 2018 from 2:00-6:00 pm. A funeral service is scheduled for January 11, 2018 at 11:00 am both at DeYoung Memorial Chapel with a reception to follow at Cancun Mexican Restaurant at 1:30 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Andrea’s life.
