

Beatrice Macias Maldonado, 80, of Stockton, crossed her bridge into eternal peace and comfort the morning of November 6, 2015. Beatrice was born on February 10, 1935 to the late Amparo Macias and the late Ramon Macias. Beatrice is survived by her husband Joseph L. Maldonado Sr., five children, five grand children and two great-grandchildren. Beatrice is survived by her brothers Rick (Mary), Raymond (Mary), and David and her Sisters Carmen, Rachel and Mary. Beatrice was preceded in death by her Brother Daniel Macias, Ruben Macias and her great grandson Benicio Maldonado. Beatrice married the love of her life in 1951, Joseph L. Maldonado Sr. They were married 64 years on October 16, 2015. Beatrice had five children with Joseph: Her son, Joseph Jr., her son Robert (Kathy), her daughter Ramona, her daughter Jodie (Tony), and her daughter Lisa (Kent). She was also blessed with five grandchildren, Robert, Ashley, Courtney (Chad), Natalie and Ethan as well as, two great-grandchildren Noah and McKenna. Beatrice had numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends that she cherished all her life. Beatrice had a great love and green thumb for gardening, a massive enthusiasm for her favorite Baseball team “The SF Giants”, a dazzling and creative flair for crocheting, and her enormous love and devotion to the care of her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and any baby that needed a care taker. This was her passion and she devoted herself, her life and her time to the raising of her children and the care of her family. She was “Nannie” to everyone that crossed her path. She will be greatly missed by so many. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 16th at 1 pm to 7 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 17th at 11 am with a Committal Service to follow at San Joaquin Rural Cemetery.
