Captain Anacleto (Leto) Q. Lirio passed away on September 6, 2021 in Stockton, California. Leto was born in Tanauan, Batangas, Philippines to Ignacio Lirio & Maria Quilao on April 26, 1941. He married Estrellita B. Lirio on June 26, 1967 in Tanauan City, Batangas, Philippines. He graduated from the Philippines Maritime Institute with a degree in Nautical Science. He worked as a Captain on cargo ships for Everett Steamship Corporation for over 18 years and was the youngest captain in the fleet. He continued work as a Merchant Marine Agent for the next 30+ years all over the ports of California and 2 years in Alaska. Leto lived in Yokohama, Japan for over 14 years then moved to Stockton, California where he resided for over 30 years. Leto was extensively involved in various Catholic organizations till his passing.
Leto is preceded in death by Felix Lirio (Brother), Ignacio Lirio (Father) & Maria Quilao Lirio (Mother).
Leto is survived by his wife Estrellita B. Lirio of over 54 years
