I remember the day Cheryl was hired at the Child Support Office. She was dressed so nice with her short red hair and not a hair out of place. She always was very professional. She was full of knowledge and willing to help others. She was kind and a sweet lady. We worked closely together for many of the 27 years. We were friends going places and sharing our life events. She loved her niece and nephews and talked about them all the time as they grew up. She was very proud of them. She was my maid of honor and she held my children after they were born and attended many parties. She inspired my oldest son to love Nascar and Dale Sr like she did. She was auntie Cheryl. I loved her dearly and going to miss her.

Just a little sense of humor that Cheryl I am sure would appreciate on my memory. I know how much Cheryl loved Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. but I do still have the Jeff Gordon coffee cup that does make me smile when I use it.

I have worked with Cheryl for many years, during this time we shared many conversations about Nascar races as my husband was a die hard Dale Earnhardt SR. and JR. fan while Cheryl was a Jeff Gordon fan. We shared about our families, Cheryl was so proud of her niece and Nephews. Cheryl was always kind, sweet and willing to help. On the day she retired, she gave me her precious Jeff Gordon coffee cup and I still have it to this day at my desk. It has and will continue to make me smile and remember Cheryl every time I use it. Rest in peace my friend you are and will always be one in a million.

I met Cheryl in 2002 when I started at Child Support. She was a trainer, and a friend. Always could go to her with any questions. Then I had the pleasure to see her on Friday mornings at West Lane Bowl, she bowled in the league down from me. Always made sure to say hello. You will be missed my friend.
