Clemmie Loretta Farley

Mrs. Farley was born August 17, 1923 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Webster and Mattie Johnson. In 1943, she met and married Roosevelt Farley Sr. From this union came 13 children, 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. Farley is preceded in death by her parents Webster and Mattie Johnson; husband Roosevelt Farley Sr., siblings Milton, Ruth and Veaster Johnson; sons Sam Farley, Leonard Farley Sr., Charles Farley and Larry Farley Sr.; and grandsons Leonard Farley Jr. and Jerry Farley Jr.

She is survived by her sister Nora Johnson; sons Roosevelt Farley Jr. (Donna), Jerry Farley Sr. (Joyce), John Farley, and William Farley (Karen); daughters Dorothy Ware (James), Clemmie Farley, Mildred Farley, Thelma Farley and Brenda Muhammad; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

We will hold on to the memories of her beautiful smile and contagious laughter. She will be sorely missed for her brilliant mind, undeniable strength, steadfast honesty, but most of all, her loving heart.

Mrs. Farley’s celebration of life will be at Progressive Community Church, 2820 S. B St, Stockton, CA on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11am. Her viewing will be hosted by Frisbee-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St. Stockton, CA 95202 on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Public viewing will be from 2:00pm-6:00pm.
