

David Gumbaro, a lifetime Stockton native passed away peacefully on June 7, 2017 from natural causes. He is the son of the late Dave and Antoinette Gumbaro. David served in the Navy during the Korean War and later in the Marines where he was honorably discharged. David was an employee of the Waste Water Treatment plant in Stockton for over 30 years. He was a favorite and frequent customer at the Blackwater Café and other coffee shops in central Stockton. David is preceded in death by his brother, Art Gumbaro and sister, Davine Gumbaro. He is survived by his only child, Stephanie Gumbaro of Citrus Heights, CA and various nieces. A Graveside Service will be held on July 7, 2017 at 2PM at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton, CA. Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life at the Blackwater Café, 912 N. Yosemite Street, Stockton, CA.
