Dolores Del Rio Martinez, 84, was born January 23, 1937 in Stockton, CA and passed away on February 25, 2021 after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Mary Cortez, her husband Frank Martinez, sister Rosemarie Juarez, brother Joseph Cortez, and grandson James Martinez, all of Stockton, CA. She is survived by her loving daughter, Marina Juarez (George), dear sons Frank and Mark Martinez, and dear sister Carmen Flores, all of Stockton. She is also survived by her granddaughter Kristi Porras, grandsons Jason Porras and Mark Martinez Jr., as well as her great-grandsons Jesus III and Jordan Rodriguez, and many nieces and nephews.
Dolores also leaves behind many friends, including some she has kept in close contact with for over 75 years.
She was a homemaker, but also worked as a waitress off and on for thirty years at King Café, a local restaurant in downtown Stockton.
Dolores was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxilliary #83, of which she was a Past Madam President, and also a member of the Grandmothers Club of Stockton, CA.
She was loved by many, and will be missed by all.
The Family wishes to thank the entire staff of Dameron Hospital. An outdoor walk-through viewing will take place March 23rd at De Young Memorial Chapel from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. A Rosary will take place March 24th at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 2544 Plymouth Rd., Stockton, CA, at 10:00 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30 am. Committal to follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
