EVANGELYN “ANGEL” JEAN SABIK-HUDSON Born July 8, 1958 ; Passed November 29, 2018. She was a Stockton resident since January, 1992. She precedes in death her Husband Harry E. Hudson, Jr., Sisters Elizabeth Farrow and Amy Sabik, Brother Frank Sabik, and Step-Father Larry Gardner. Angel passed after a long term battle with kidney disease and complications due to a stroke. Angel was a member of St Anne Episcopal Church. Angel was well known to many in downtown Stockton, California not only for her care of the area’s feral cats, which resided in several of the parking lots, for her friendly, gregarious and generous nature. Until her kidney disease reduced her ability to travel, she enjoyed visiting Mexico, Napa Valley, our families in Chicago and Knoxville, Tennessee, the beaches of North and South Carolina. She did not let her need for dialysis entirely prohibit her travels. She often located dialysis clinics on her own in the resorts and other places she visited. As Angel had cared lovingly for the feral cats in downtown Stockton for more than two decades.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to either ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic, 327 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA or Second Chance Kitty, 9276 Snow Creek CI, Stockton, CA.

I will miss Angel and her dozen CCC's she would send me home or bring to me. She truly had a giving heart and fought a good fight for as long as I knew her. Angel will be missed on holidays and birthdays and every day. She is now out of pain and finding all of the ferrel kitties in heaven to feed. I am sure St Peter is enjoying the CCC's too.
