Feliez doing what he loved to do for the team. Cooking fajitas, beans and rice at the end of the year BBQ. He did this every year, packing the grill on his truck heading for Pleasanton. As the final game was ending we could see the smoke in the distance and new what we had in front of us. We didn't look forward to the season ending but Feliez's cooking made it all better.
Thanks team mate and friend for sharing a little part of your life with us.

The Viejitos family lost one of our true warriors this morning. I sadly announce that Feliciano (Feliez) Garcia past away peacefully this morning after a courageous 4 year battle that only Feliez could have fought this long.
Feliez was a Bulldog on the mound, commanding respect as he went about his duties as our star pitcher. Feliez won many tournaments, including the Nor Cal Championships, 2 Cal cups, Rock-N-Reno, Western Nationals and 2 Hall of fame tournaments. Along with garnering all tourneys in the Western Nationals, both Cal Cups and was Las Vegas SSUSA world championships team MVP 2015. I can't begin to say how much he will be missed. I'm missing him already.
Rest in Paradise WEEKEND WARRIOR and your forever a Viejitos.

Words cannot express the sadness I felt when I heard about Feliciano’s passing. I also met him through softball. The knowledge and skill this man had about the game was impressive. Feliciano and I developed a great friendship through the years and he had helped me get through some tough times. His outer shell may have intimidated many, but I was able to get to know the softer side of this man. He has/had a HEART OF GOLD. I will forever cherish the memories of my “ Mexican Fabio” and I shared during our friendship. My heart goes out to the family and may GOD bring you love and strength during this difficult time. RIP my dearest friend❤️

I am so thankful for having you in my life you were a blessing. Feliciano was a very good friend to my parents and was with my godmother when I was growing up and he had took the opportunity to be my godfather and for 40 something years that's what I knew him as until one day I was told different. I was so upset when I was told I was playing that weekend at Louis park and knew I would see him and didn't know how to approach him but when he seen me he walked over and told me dont worry mijo I will always be your nino and gave me a hug. I will never forget that. I just want you to know I always will love you nino.
