Mr. Felix Acevedo (Papa’ Fey), 92 passed away peacefully on January 30, 2020. Born in Sacramento, CA on February 11, 1927 to Antonio Acevedo and Frances Granados; Dear brother of Antonio Acevedo and Elizabeth Acevedo.
He is survived by his two children Tony Acevedo and Sonia Serrano; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who he loved very much. He is reunited with his beautiful wife Amparo Acevedo of 55 years as well as his two daughters Elizabeth Diaz and Frances Comparan.
He worked as a foreman with Granite Construction and McGaw Construction and was a Union Member of Cement Mason Local 400 for 67 years. Felix enjoyed being outdoors and working in his garden. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren to baseball games to watch the Stockton Ports and San Francisco Giants of whom he was a life long fan of the San Fransisco Giants. He was a great provider and always put his family first.
He will be greatly missed, as he touched the lives of all whom had the blessing of meeting him.
He will always be remembered for lending a helping hand and for his unconditional love for his family.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the Rosary at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Gertrude’s Church, 1663 E. Main St., Stockton.
