Mrs. Flora Berzabal Quintal

Flora Berzabal Quintal November 24, 1925 – October 14, 2014 Flora B. Quintal was born in Santa Ilocos Sur, Philippines to the late Candelario & Ricarda Soriano Berzabal. She was the first-born child of seven siblings. Flora married the late Ramon Quintal and is survived by her 9 children: Tina, Pete (deceased), Edith (deceased), Betty, Aida, Ramon, Mila, Eddie, Esperanza, Renato, & Ofelia; Grandchildren: Arthur & Allen Formoso, Philip & Christine Quintal, Erick & Edward (deceased) Buenavista,Claribette&Cesar Del Rosario Jr., Adele McClendon & Derrole Quibol, Randy & Ryan Quintal, Jade, Abigail, & Dylan Quintal, C.J., Josh, & Nate Quibol, Charlene, J.J., Clarissa, Brandon, & Aaylina Quintal, and Daren & Gregory Taylor; Great-grandchildren: Summer, Alani, Ashlyn Formoso, Isabel Quintal, & Darius & Ayden Mc Clendon. In January 1976 she arrived in Daly City and a year later moved to Stockton, CA. where she spent the rest of her life. Throughout her life, Flora was a faithful churchgoer. Her pride & joy was caring for her grandchildren, with family gathering on weekends a must. She loved her bus trips to casinos to play her favorite slot machines. Her favorite past time was to watch GSN; she watched Jeopardy, Wheel of fortune and so on…. A traveler in her younger days: back & forth to the Philippines, Portland, Austin, New Orleans, Disneyland, Seattle, Las Vegas, & Vancouver. Flora had an incurable thoracic aneurysm. She was surrounded by her loving family until she passed peacefully @ 7:40 pm. FAMILY ACKNOWLEDEMENT: Our family would like to extend our gratitude to the doctors & nurses @ St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, for their compassion, comfort and care for our Mother. We deeply appreciate our dear relatives and friends for their love, support and prayers. Please join the family for a visitation for Flora at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel Thursday 10/23/2014 from 10am – 5pm with Rosary at 5pm. Mass will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church 3847 N.
