Fred Kaplan, 78, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026. Fred was born on May 7, 1947 in Brooklyn, N.Y., then family relocated to Stockton, CA in 1952. He is a 1965 graduate of Stagg High School, as well as S.J. Delta College. Served in the Army 1968 to 1970. Fred was an auto mechanic for many years, and was owner of Five Star Automotive, retired in 2011. The most enjoyable part of his life was riding his motorcycle every chance he had. He had been a member of the Stockton Motorcycle Club for 62 years.
Preceded in death are parents, Leon and Adele Kaplan, and wife Toni Kaplan. Survived by daughters Gena Kaplan-Barrera (Juan), Michelle Cerna, sister Merryl Kaplan, and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on May 6, 2026 at Frisbie Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St, Stockton, CA.
Visitation from 10:00 to 1:00 pm.
Funeral from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Committal service at 2:30 pm at Adas Yeshurun Cemetery, 8960 S. McKinley Ave, French Camp, CA.
