

Gerardo Navarro, 74, born on October 16, 1950 in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, to Balbino Navarro and Lorenza Quitoriano, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024. He was the second oldest of six children, growing up with five loving sisters in Ilocos Sur, Philippines
He attended Divine Word College of Vigan in Ilocos Sur, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Following his graduation, he dedicated his career to the Philippine national government, working in the Department of Agrarian Reform until he met the love of his life, Arcenia, in 1980. Together, they welcomed three children: Grace, Abigayle, and Ryan.
In 1992, he immigrated to the United States, where he worked at Alphatec (Indy Electronic) from 1992 to 1997 and then at DSC Logistics until health issues required him to retire.
During his retirement, he devoted himself to caring for his three grandchildren. His love was evident in the smallest gestures, such as spoon-feeding them even when they could do it themselves , treating them to fast food whenever they asked., and making home cooked meals for everyone. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a proud and encouraging dad, Grandfather, and uncle, always boasting about their accomplishments with his eyes lighting up at everyones’ successes.
Over the years, he worked tirelessly to bring his five sisters to America, and after 25 years, his dream was fulfilled when his last sister arrived in August 2024.
He was Known for his kindness, introverted nature, and generous spirit, that many had the privilege to meet. Gerardo touched the lives of many. He loved life and looked forward to celebrating a big birthday party in October 2024, a testament to his joyful spirit.
He is survived by his wife, Arcenia, children :Grace (Jerome), Abigayle, and Ryan, Grand children : Xzavier, Zaylen, Yasmine, Sisters; Helen, Remedios (Emiliano), Shirley (Antonio), Patricia (Benedicto) Loida, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, around the world. His legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
A visitation for Gerardo will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM at De Young Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr, Stockton, CA 95219. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 3847 N Sutter St, Stockton, CA 95204. A committal will occur Monday, November 18, 2024 at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E Harding Way, Stockton, CA 95204.
