Golenia Curry

Golenia Curry, 71, of Stockton, CA, formally of San Leandro, Ca, passed away, on January 17, 2016. She was born March 17, 1944 in Ladd, AR. Golenia is preceded in death by her parents Sam & Martha Henderson; and her siblings Curtis Henderson, Arthur Henderson, Willie Henderson, and Carrie L. H. Thompson.

She is survived by her son Limus Curry III, and his wife Jennifer of Stockton, her grandchildren Jasmine, Nolan, Jacinda, Angelina, and Alonzo. Mrs. Curry is also survived by her siblings; Bernice Adams, Johnnie Mae Henderson, Johnny Lee Henderson, and Victuse Little.

Mrs. Curry retired as a psychiatric clerk from John George Psychiatric Hospital in San Leandro. She was a member for many years at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland. After moving to Stockton she became a faithful member of God’s Throne Baptist Church.

Services will be held Friday January 29, 2016 at 11 am at God’s Throne Baptist Church, 405 E. Lindsay St. Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, Stockton, CA has been entrusted with services. Final resting place will be Parkview Cemetery in French Camp.
