Guadalupe Mendez was born August 30, 1934 on a Thursday, passed away on July 16, 2015. He met his wife Lilia when they were 12 and 11 and married when they were 17 and 15 in 1953. Lupe left this life, after a lengthy illness before sunrise, last Thursday morning. He will be missed. He leaves behind his wife Lilia, daughter Dolores, sons Manuel and George, grandchildren Robert, Andrea, Sara and their families, brother Manuel Medina Sr. and nephew Manuel Medina Jr. as well as numerous family and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 5p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary 809 N. California Street with a rosary to follow at 5 p.m. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday July 24 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 203 E. Washington St. Burial will follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery 719 E. Harding way. All locations in Stockton.
