

Henry was born in Ternate, Cavite Philippines to Godofredo Collantes Sr and Carmelita Collantes on August 22, 1975.
Henry was born and lived in the Philippines until the age of 11 when he immigrated to the U.S and settled first in Oakland then to Hayward, California with his family. He graduated from Chabot College where he received his Associates of Arts & Sciences degree in Civil Engineering and then went on to attend San Jose State University. Henry married Kate Gonzaga Collantes in June 2013 in a civil ceremony and in January 2014, they were married at St. Augustine Church in the Philippines before settling in Stockton, CA. Henry worked in all aspects of the hospitality industry for over 26 years. He worked at Hilton San Jose for 11 years as the Front Office Manager. With his dedication to work, he was hired as General Manager at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Union City, CA. He was proud of his achievements. Most recently, working as a General Manager for Home2 Suites by Hilton in Livermore, CA. He served on the Board of Directors for Placer Valley Tourism in Rocklin, CA.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents Godfredo Collantes Sr, Carmelita Collantes and oldest brother Fr. Luisito Garrido Collantes.
Henry is survived by his wife Kate, his daughter Katheryne Kyah, his brothers, sisters-in-law and their children Rolando, Cecille, Michael and Nathaniel, Godofredo Jr, Cecile, Carmelita Keona, Christian and Adrian.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 21st from 3-7pm, with a Rosary at 4pm at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel (7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, CA 95219).
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22nd 10am with Fr. Delfin Tumaca of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, officiating. Arrangements are by DeYoung Shoreline Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Rolando Collantes, Godofredo Collantes Jr., Matthew Villacarte, Henry Garrido III, Dannie Garrido, Jr, and Jay Dizon.
