Henry Lopez passed peacefully on April 27, 2013, at the age of 93. He was one of six children. Preceded in death by his beloved parents: Yirneo and Blasita Lemos-Lopez; siblings: Joe, Albert, Benny, Blanche, Jennie, Pete; and granddaughter, Sunny Marsh. Henry will be remembered by his loving wife of 70 years, Juanita Lopez.
He was a lifelong Stocktonian and attended Lafayette Elementary School until the third grade. Henry was a man with many occupations. He began a career as a cab driver, construction worker, and retired as a heavy equipment operator of 45 years, belonging to the Operating Engineers Union #3. Henry was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting, dancing and listening to mariachi music.
Those he leaves behind include his sons; Henry (Jan) Lopez, John (Judy) Lopez, his daughter; Juanita (Ted) Willey; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren .
