Ignacia (Nisha, Inez, Natcha) Lozano (Garcia) passed peacefully in her home on March 15, 2020 in Manteca, CA at the age of 89. Ignacia is survived by her three children, Joseph Lozano (Millie), Maria Ugalino (Ron), Helen Lopez, she is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Jesse Joe Lozano, daughter Lydia Cardenas, son John Lozano, and siblings Delia Guiterrez, Carmen Leyva, Sarah Rubio, Benny Garcia, Marco’s Garcia, Johnny Garcia and Lupe Dimas.

Ignacia was born on July 3, 1931 in Jerome, Arizona to her late parents Benito Garcia of Texas and Guadalupe Medanda of Mexico. At the age of 10, her family left the daisy of Jerome Arizona and settled in Stockton, CA, where Ignacia attended junior trade school and met the love of her life Jesse Joe Lozano, they married in April of 1948.

Ignacia worked briefly in the cannery, she later decided to leave and dedicate herself to her children, husband and their business, Allied Roofing Co. Over the years, Ignacia and Jesse welcomed five children all the while establishing their growing roofing business. Ignacia’s children remember her as loving, caring, strong and giving mom. Ignacia was the disciplinarian between her and Jesse. Our mom, nana, little grandma, grams will be missed by all of us who love her dearly.

A Catholic Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1 P.M. at the Cathedral of Annunciation in Stockton, CA with an inurnment to follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association and Hospice of San Joaquin. The family would like to thank all with the care of mom, caregivers: Alicia, MaryAnne and Always Caring home health.
