Jennifer Calvo Harris, known to her friends as “Jen” passed away and was taken at such a young age on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 and will be deeply missed. She was born on October 10, 1958 in Oakland Calif. to Damian & Elton Ann Calvo. Jennifer was raised in Fremont, Calif. and graduated from J.F. Kennedy H.S. in 1976. A few years later she moved to Stockton, Calif. for the majority of her remaining years with a 10 year span in Des Moines, Washington. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Damian Calvo. She is survived by her mother, Elton Ann Calvo, Sister Julie Calvo Thurman, son Christopher Long (Jennifer), son Brandon Long, two beautiful grandchildren, Lukas 8 and Lexi 23 months as well as a niece and nephew. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 @ 12:30 p.m. at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel located at 7676 Shoreline Dr., Stockton, CA.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
