John David Leuenberger Sr.

John is survived by his wife Charlene of 45 years. Children Joy Wright of Inman, SC, John Leuenberger Jr. of Lodi, CA, Jason Leuenberger of Stockton, CA and Jacqueline Corso of San Antonio, TX. along with 9 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father John Joseph Leuenberger and his mother Rose Marie Leuenberger both of Stockton, CA.

John was born on December 10, 1948 in Illion, NY to parents John Joseph and Rose Marie Leuenberger. John graduated from Washington high school in Fremont, CA in 1965. He married Charlene on November 11, 1977. John and Charlene opened their own gardening business in 1996 and over the years taught their 3 youngest children the business.

John's children remember him as a brave, hard-working, loyal, passoniate, determined and strong man.

John loved fishing, playing pool, shuffle board, darts, dice and dominoes. He has many trophies from tournaments he has won over the decades he played. John is a life member at the Stockton Rod and Gun club and often volunteered there when he was physically able to do so.

The family would like to thank John's caregiver Michelle Juarez for her care and support over the past 5 years.

There will not be any services for John as that was his wish.
