Born on September 14, 1955, he lived a life marked by honor, service, discipline, and unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he served his country with courage and commitment, embodying the values of duty and integrity that would define the rest of his life.
Following his time in the U.S Air Force, he continued his commitment to protecting and serving others as a sheriff, eventually retiring after a distinguished career in law enforcement. He carried authority with humility, strength and compassion. Known for being firm in his standards yet carried himself with grace & humility, offering Christ-centered wisdom and direction to those around him.
Above all, he was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. His faith was the foundation of his life. He boldly shared the Gospel with everyone he met, never missing an opportunity to speak about God’s goodness and grace. He faithfully led his own Bible study, pouring into others and encouraging spiritual growth within his community. His life was a testimony — not only in words, but in action.
Music was one of his greatest joys. He proudly participated in drum and bugle corps, where his love for rhythm, precision, and unity found expression. Whether listening, singing, or simply feeling the rhythm of a favorite song, music filled his home and heart.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Francine Sales, who passed away in 2020. Their love was steadfast and enduring, and we take comfort in knowing they are reunited in eternal glory.
He leaves behind his four loving daughters, Gloria, Nicole, Monica, and Jasmine, who were the pride and joy of his life. His mother, Marie. He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren, extended grandchildren, and many family members and friends whose lives were forever changed by his strength, leadership, and faith.
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing he has heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” His legacy of faith, service, discipline, and love will continue for generations to come.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
