My uncle was always a very considerate, gentle, and humble man.  His kindness and pleasantry will be dearly missed.

Dear Grandpa,

You were such a strong, caring, and loving grandpa. Some of my favorite childhood memories were coming to Stockton and eating the delicious "Gung gung mein" that you would make for me and Eva whenever we visited because you knew how much we loved it. I'll always remember your gentle and caring nature, and your willingness to help others. You helped to raise my mom into the most selfless and kind person I know. I am very sad that you have left this world, and I'll miss you so much, but I am happy that you are in heaven now and no longer need to suffer.

The past 2 weeks have been the most painful and devastated time of my life. Exactly 2 weeks ago, Mom, Jason,  Albert  and I helped Dad get in the car as carefully and as gently  as possible,  trying not to aggravate his pain. We left the house at 5am and headed to the hospital in Sacramento. We knew this was going to be a high-risk spinal surgery, but we just hoped that the surgery would help relieve his unbearable pain. I never imagined Dad not coming home ever again. 
It hurt so much to see him  suffer. My heart was broken as he took his last breath. A part of me has left with him.  There will always be this hole in my heart. 
My father was the best father in the world and I'm glad  I told him that before he left. He was the most gentle, most loving and caring father in the world. He not only brought me to this world, but also raised me up to be a decent person. He taught me many life lessons and helped shape my character. I wouldn't be the person I am today without him.  I am so blessed to have him as my father and I can't thank him enough. 
Dad, you'll always live in my heart and we'll be reunited in Heaven one day. I love you and I miss you.

Grandpa, I'm very sad to see you gone. We all love you and we will miss you.

Grandma, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I can be there for you in person through this hard time. I'll come see you as soon as I can. Grandpa left surrounded by his family, knowing how much we all loved and cared for him. He lived such a happy and full life. Even though it is a really sad time now, at least he is no longer suffering and is finally at peace.
