Madelyn Mary Zeiter

Madelyn Barkett Zeiter, 99, of Stockton, passed away on January 2nd, 2024. She was born in Seraal, Lebanon and immigrated to the United States when she was 13 years old. She attended St. Mary’s High School in Stockton before marrying Tony J. Zeiter, Sr. in 1946. They lived in Caracas, Venezuela for 18 years before returning to Stockton in 1963. Madelyn is survived by her children, Tony Zeiter Jr. (Arline) of Stockton, Dr. Joe Zeiter of Stockton, Peter Zeiter of Stockton and Madelin Ferguson of Palm Desert, CA. Madelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, in 2006 and her third son Edmond Zeiter in 1973. Madelyn is survived by her seven grandchildren, Elisa Zeiter Marozick (Matthew) of Portland, OR, Dr. Joey Zeiter of Stockton, Alec, Michaela and Jacqueline Ferguson of Palm Desert, CA. and Ramza and Maria Zeiter of Stockton. Madelyn is also survived by her two great-grandchildren, Emory and Ayla Marozick of Portland, OR. Family and Friends are invited to St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church to attend a Recitation of the Rosary at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am on January 15th, 2024. A reception will be held at the Ambler’s Club 2000 Amblers Lane Stockton, CA 95204.
