Hokie was a special person. She was someone I had the honor of sharing my childhood with along with the rest of the Velasquez family. Hokie wasn't just my neighbor. She was one of the sweetest childhood sister of over 50 years. She had a contagious laugh and was well loved by my sisters and anyone who had been blessed to know her. I will always treasure the great memories like playing hopscotch, spending the night, playing mother may I, and green light red light. My heart is broken. Hokie will be missed for sure. Love YOU Hokie.
