Maria, 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 7, 2017. She was born in Holiday, KS on May 29, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband Ramon Barajas, and her son Jesus Barajas. Maria is survived by her children: Ignacio Barajas, Manuel Barajas, Rafael Barajas, Faustino Barajas, Guillermo Barajas, Maria Ruiz, Pedro Barajas, Pablo Barajas, Maria Hernandez; 33 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation is held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 3 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm at De Young Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 10 am with Committal to follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
