Maria Guadalupe R Ruiz

Maria Guadalupe Ruiz, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, in French Camp, California. Born on January 29, 1938, in Uriangato, Guanajuato, Mexico, she lived a life rooted in faith, family, and enduring love.

Guadalupe was the beloved wife of the late Aniceto Guzman Ruiz Sr., with whom she shared a long and devoted marriage. Together they built a strong and loving family that became her greatest joy and legacy. A devoted mother to seven children, Guadalupe’s nurturing spirit and unwavering support shaped the lives of Maria Elena Morales, Rafael Ruiz, Angelita Ruiz, Sylvia Carroll, and Lupe Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her sons Aniceto “Cheto” Ruiz Jr. and Gabriel Ruiz.

As a cherished matriarch, Guadalupe’s influence extended far beyond her immediate family. She was the proud Abuelita of 16 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandmother to 4 great-great-grandchildren. Her home was often filled with laughter across generations—a testament to the deep bonds she fostered throughout her life.

A woman of deep Catholic faith, Guadalupe found strength and solace in her spiritual beliefs. Her devotion guided her through life’s joys and challenges alike and served as an example for those around her.

Known affectionately as “Abuelita,” Guadalupe will be remembered for the warmth she brought into every room and the love she poured into every relationship. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on August 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Church 5882 N. Ashley Lane, Stockton, Ca 95215.

A Burial will follow on August 13, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Cherokee Memorial Park & Funeral Home 14165 Beckman Road, Lodi Ca 95240
